Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic care is based on the premise that good health care depends, in part, upon a normal functioning nervous system. The body has the ability to function and keep you well, provided it is not compromised. Doctors of Chiropractic do not utilize drugs or surgery in their practices. Chiropractic strategies care helps the individuals cope by relieving structural stress and providing information on alternative options. We adjust the spine which helps to normalize the nervous system. It is our goal to give your body the advantage that it needs to function and perform at a higher potential.Kinesiotaping
Kinesiotape is used to help assist the body's return to normal function through the application of the tape onto the skin. It is a specialized tape that has a longitudinal stretch of 55-60% of its resting length, unlike athletic tape. It can be used to treat all athletic injuries, traumatic injuries, or any muscle pain or inflammation. You may have seen this tape during the 2008 Beijing Olympics.Active Release Technique (ART)
Active Release Technique (ART) is a hands-on-touch and case-management system that allows a practitioner to diagnose and treat soft-tissue injuries. Soft tissue refers primarily to muscle, tendon, fascia, and nerves. Specific injuries that apply are repetitive strains, adhesions, tissue hypoxia, and joint dysfunction. This tool is found to be extremely useful in the treatment of athletes.Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue (Graston)
Graston technique is used when a patient has "knots" or adhesions
in their soft tissues (muscles/ligaments). This technique involves
the use of a small tool which allows the physician to be more precise
in their treatment location. This coupled with ART provides the best
results when trying to treat soft tissue injuries.
