First Visit

Step 1 : Consultation

We strive to make your first visit to our office a comfortable experience. Our receptionist will welcome you and ask you to complete our required forms or you may have printed them off of our website in which case you will have already filled them out. These forms will give us important information about you and your condition. You will also be asked for your insurance card and license. The doctor will then spend sometime asking about specific questions about your condition to determine if chiropractic care is right for you.

Step 2 : Examination

After discussing your condition the doctor will give you a thorough chiropractic examination, such as vital signs, testing your ability to turn and bend, your reflexes, and other standard postural, neurological, orthopedic, and physical examinations. This important information will allow the doctor to have a better understanding of your condition and how chiropractic can help you.

Step 3 | X-ray

In cases where spinal x-rays may be necessary, care will be exercised to reduce any unnecessary radiation exposure. We are acutely aware of concerns regarding over-radiation and will determine if the benefits outweigh the potential exposure to such an examination.

Step 4 | Report of Findings

On your second visit after all the information including exams, forms, and x-rays (if needed) are complete, the doctor will give you a report of findings and explain the treatment that is right for you. During this visit, a treatment plan will be setup specifically for you condition. At the conclusion of your time with the doctor, a member of the staff will go over with you a financial report, at which time we will help you with any financial arrangements.

Step 5 | Treatment

Many patients will get relief from the very first adjustment! Chiropractic adjustments are gentle enough for kids yet will restore movement and function for the athlete and senior.

The techniques used may be different from patient to patient depending on their condition or age.
